Food Diary

Friday 7th March:
Roast Cod with Cannellini Beans & Chorizo.
Loins of cod roasted with olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice and chopped chives. Served with Cannellini beans cooked in vegetable stock with diced chorizo, tomato, and parsley. Finish with fresh chives, and parsley, lemon wedges and crusty bread (03/08 Fresh).

Sunday 9th March (Late Mother's Day !):
Pepper Steak served with Home-Made Oven Chips and a Roasted Pepper & Mozzarella Salad.
Pan-fried fillet steak coated in crushed black peppercorns, finished off in the oven. Served with a creme fraiche and brandy sauce. Gordon's oven chips - par-boiled for 3 minutes and roasted for another 25-30 minutes. A beautiful salad of pitted black olives, shallots, roasted peppers, sliced mozzarella - dressed with olive oil, lemon juice & zest, and flat-leaf parsley (03/07 Good Food).

Monday 10th March:
Risotto with Leeks and Potted Shrimps.
Simple ! (03/07 Good Food).
