Heston Blumenthal - "Family Food" Cook Book

I've been meaning to order this book for a year or two now; Heston wrote most of it (it was first published in 2002) before becoming famous enough in the mainstream to get his own TV series.

It has some fascinating articles and recipes by the author on all aspects of cooking and food, with the aim of getting kids to appreciate and get more adventurous with their eating. It's a marriage of classic cooking methods with the added "science" which Heston is famous for, covering topics including: snacks, grains, soups, Sunday lunch, vegetables, fish and desserts.

I can see that I will be cooking from this book for many months to come, and it has become an immediate favourite.
